**Job Title**: HR Officer **Location**: Tankersley **Salary**: £32,500 **Job Reference No**:GS-030 **Excellent development opportunity **This is a great opportunity to develop your HR career and take responsibility for HR matters at our Barnsley factory, with over 200 heads. You are part of an HR Team centred in South Wales and report into the National HR Manager. A CIPD further education package is included, with definite opportunity for further advancement. No day is the same as you will cover all HR functions, particularly employee relations and recruitment. You will maintain a professional distance from the line management team there to ensure integrity and independence in the function, as we support managers and employees. You will have excellent support from day one, easing you into this exciting role. It is a fast-paced **HR generalist role** witha great deal of independence and self-management. You will support the team with our policy development, HR projects and improving our HR systems. There is a limited amount of administration entering into our HR system, and you can work from home on a chosen day. You must know basic employment law and will need to be positive and energetic in your approach - a "can do" person. We have considerable latitude to take HR in our own direction of travel and we are not hindered by a corporate mentality. There are exciting projects ahead. **What you will work**:Monday - Friday - Office Hours 8:00am - 4:00pm or choice of 9:00am to 5:00pm. Also you can opt to work one of these days from home. Ideally you have 5 years experience ready to perform the role from day one.
