I currently have a fantastic opportunity working with a leading business who are based in Barnsley. Due to an increased work load they are looking for a payroll officer on a temporary basis to start as soon as possible. This role will initially start outon a temporary basis but could go permanent long term.
The role will be managing weekly payroll for 2,600 people and time and attendance for roughly 1,100 people, so as you can imagine they would need some one with high volume payroll experience on a weekly basis.
The role;
- Ensuring payroll for 3 sites is completed within a timely manner.
- Creating absence records on the system.
- Processing holiday forms in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide accurate KPI reports.
- Calculating sick and holiday pay.
Experience;
- Previous experience in payroll.
- Experience processing high volume payroll on a weekly basis.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Good analytical skills.
- Strong time management skills.
