**About the role**

One of your key responsibilities as a Production Control Team Leader will be to effectively lead a team of Production Controllers and ensure that their daily tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner, and to the high standard that DS Smith andour clients expect. You will be supporting the team with queries and ensuring compliance with quality control processes, but will also work with each individual in your team to provide training plans and mentorship so that we can develop the entire function.

You will also manage multiple projects at a time, always making sure that projects are running on time and within budget. This will involve the sharing of key project documentation with relevant parties and correct filing and storage of various documentsso that all involved parties, internal and external, are able to be updated on projects at any given time.

Finally, you will provide support to the Account Management teams to help drive sales and growth, through the delivery of an outstanding level of service that focuses on competitiveness, communication, accuracy, reliability and dependability. Your relationshipbuilding skills will be crucial to your success in a role where you're constantly working with colleagues and other stakeholders around the business.

**About you**
- Significant experience in a similar environment, ideally in a large, complex organisation
- A strong understanding of the production control process, and printing and finishing processes
- Knowledge of substrates and structural design
- Very detail oriented
- A clear communicator, with the ability to build effective relationships with people inside and outside DS Smith
