**Community Engagement Worker Required in North Liverpool**
**£22,737 pro-rata (actual £9,095.30 gross) - £12.46 per hour**
**14 hours a week (9:00-4:30) - 2 days a week between Monday to Friday**
**Initially fixed term to 31st March 2025**
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team in an exciting role that involves engaging directly with families in our communities.
As part of our work to support children's development and school readiness, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact by working with families living in disadvantaged areas.
Your role will include reaching out to families registered with the Children’s Centre, sharing valuable information on key issues such as child health, and development, and preparing children for school.
Through direct engagement—such as home visits, you will provide vital support, helping families access the resources they need to give their children the best possible start in life.

Essential criteria for the position:
- Level 2 in Early Years, Health & Social Care or similar
- Good knowledge of the reach area/community the children’s centre serves
- Being strongly motivated
- **Full driving license and own vehicle (mileage reimbursed)**:
- An enhanced DBS will be undertaken.
The hours are between Monday - Friday 9.00 - 4.30 pm with a thirty-minute unpaid lunch break.
On a weekly rotation, you will be working with Children Centre’s across these areas: Anfield, Everton, Tuebrook, West Derby, County, Fountains, Walton & Vauxhall
