At B&M we continue to see incredible growth & have an exciting new opportunity to join our People Team as Internal Communications & Engagement Partner.

This is a key role that will ensure our 35,000 colleagues receive the right communications at the right time. Our colleagues are in our 700+ stores, 6 Distribution Centres and our Support Centre.

Based at our Support Centre, Speke, Liverpool L24, this role is permanent and full time.

Reporting to our Group People Director your remit is to lead, develop and execute engaging internal communications in line with the wider business strategy. In essence this is delivering a constant drumbeat of communication where you choose the notes that ensure our culture and values are perfectly in tune.
- Created strategy; this means it has been your thought process and your delivery
- Previously held an internal communications role in a fast-paced environment, taking responsibility for employee engagement on a significant scale
- Managed a team and worked closely with internal stakeholders
- Worked across multiple channels (digital and traditional) to deliver content including ideally, a colleague App
- Been involved in listening groups to get to the essence of what is needed and then delivered to your colleague audience in an engaging tone and style
- Shown ability to influence so that you have provided a voice to colleagues

- To create and deliver the development and strategic execution of all internal communications and engagement across B&M - to over 35,000 colleagues
- Ensuring an effective cascade of business information that matters and ensuring that communication is a two way street
- Leadership - where you take the lead on Listening Groups and implement the appropriate actions with your team
- Feedback - succinctly weaving what you gather and using to deliver the strategy
- Responsibility to ensure constant activity and colleague engagement daily, weekly and monthly that is underpinned with your ideas, creativity and knowledge
