**Overview**
CNC Router Programmer/Operator (Machinist)

**Location**: Werrington, PE4, Peterborough, UK

**Job Type**: Part-Time (minimum 5-6 hours/day, flexible hours and days) with the potential to become Full-Time in Jan-February 2025.

**Salary**: Competitive (to be discussed during the interview)

**About Us**:
We are a small but fast-growing CNC production business based in Werrington, Peterborough. Our team is flexible, collaborative, and directly involved with the company director. We pride ourselves on creating innovative solutions and quality products.

**Responsibilities**
- Set up and operate CNC machines for new and existing jobs.
- Enhance current production processes for improved efficiency.
- Perform quality checks and ensure precision in measurements.
- Create samples and prototypes for new product development.
- Assist with general workshop tasks as required.
- Conduct basic mathematical calculations for measurements and machining requirements.
- Collaborate directly with the company director and team to meet targets.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software like EaselPro and Vectric

**Skills & Requirements**
- Experience in CNC programming, operation, and machining.
- Proficiency in CAD and CAM software.
- Familiarity with creating prototypes and product development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- GCSE or equivalent qualification preferred but not essential.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work under pressure.
- Students with relevant experience or skills are welcome to apply.
- Knowledge of tooling design, feed rate and materials handling practices.
