**Brief description of role**:

- Carry out project management duties as required
- Coordinate team activity, report writing and event management tasks i.e., (conferences/meetings/workshops)
- Assist in the management of EDHR training (booking speakers, facilitators, rooms, participants, coordination & communication)
- Use initiative daily to ensure smooth running of EDHR activity and achievement of outcomes
- Co-ordinate arrangements for meetings in a timely manner whilst ensuring all necessary administrative processes are undertaken daily
- Undertake administrative and secretarial/PA tasks as required
- Deal efficiently with all correspondence, monitoring telephone enquiries and provide information as appropriate
- Maintain an accurate appointments schedule (if and where required)
- Attend regular meetings as required, producing agendas and accurate minutes
- Undertake office duties, including filing, faxing, photocopying, dealing with incoming/outgoing mail
- Undertake any other duties that would be a reasonable expectation of the role
- Carry out diary management responsibilities daily to a high standard where required
- Work independently, and communicate as with members of the Trust including senior members of staff, as well as patients, visitors, internal and external stakeholders

**Essential skills**:

- Experience working as a PA/Senior Medical Secretary/equivalent, ideally within the NHS, Healthcare or Public sector
- Have experience of using project management software to write reports, etc
- Personal values and demonstration of commitment to EDHR is essential with the ability to demonstrate these skills
- Paper based and electronic diary management skills
- Experience co-ordinating arrangements for meetings in a timely manner
- Strong minute-taking skills - with the ability to produce agendas and accurate minutes, making all necessary arrangements, including the collation of papers and agenda items
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Experience undertaking a range of office duties, including filing, faxing, photocopying, dealing with incoming/outgoing mail and more

**To commence employment as a B4 Personal Assistant (PA) if successful; you must be fully registered and compliant via Your World Healthcare in the first instance. To become compliant, you will need to**:

- Complete full work registration via Your World Healthcare (prior to commencing employment)
- Complete mandatory online training modules if required by our healthcare client to commence employment successfully. (Please note: This will be set up via Your World Healthcare recruitment as part of your registration process)
