We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to kick start their career with us as a Trainee Merchandise Administrator based at our Head Office at Coney Green, Chesterfield.

**Salary - **£25,000 plus bonus

**Type - **Permanent, Full Time

**Working Pattern - **Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

We are looking for someone who demonstrates a positive, can-do attitude, has great communication skills and a keen eye for detail.

**Other key areas of responsibilities include**:

- Working with a small team of administrators within the buying team to provide efficient, effective support to our network of regions and to our customers.
- Providing administration support and resolution to administrative queries to ensure the smooth, efficient running of the department.
- Effectively liaising with internal regions and external suppliers.
- Accurately maintaining a computerised system, internal records and filing systems.
- Dealing efficiently and effectively with incoming and outgoing telephone enquiries for the department and Head Office.
- Providing and excellent standard of customer care and service.
- Effectively communicating with customers and co-operating with other members of the team.

**Key Requirements**:

- Be articulate, possess excellent IT and communication skills and work well under pressure.
- Commitment to working as part of a team.
- Full training will be given but a proven background in Administration and Customer Service would be beneficial.
- Experience of the flooring industry is an advantage but not essential.
