**About the role**

- Level 2 or equivalent qualification with recent experience of working within a school (within the last 2 years) (**essential**)
- Experience with Read, Write, Inc and comfortable teaching this within a classroom environment (**essential**)
- Caring and nurturing attitude towards children
- Complete understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection methods and responsibilities
- Have a flexible and friendly approach
- Be committed to providing engaging and exciting learning opportunities
- Have a DBS on the update service or be prepared to request one via ourselves.
