Are you a Junior Buyer looking for the next step in your career? Perhaps you have experience in sourcing and bringing new products to market?

If you are interested in personal and professional growth within a leading FMCG company and want to progress your career in a corporate environment, please read on.

Working with a leading service provider to the hospitality and leisure industries, you will be working closely with the Sales team to ensure stock is sourced and bought at competitive and advantageous price points, whilst taking product availability into consideration.

This role will entail sourcing a variety of products globally, however as you will be working alongside the Commercial Manager, training can be given on best practice if required.

**The Role**:

- Sourcing existing products and suitable alternatives from alternate suppliers
- Ongoing price negotiation with Suppliers
- Preparation of Trade agreements and completing the Trade Agreement Process
- Full Supplier management
- Maintain the system price for all supplier price files via ERP system
- Manage price requests received from customer services and ensure ‘best price’ in all cases.
- Produce and maintain the full company selling price list

**The Person**:

- Experience of working within a Procurement role (FMCG or Manufacturing would be beneficial)
- Proficiency in ERP systems
- Good analytical skills and can demonstrate prioritization, planning, and follow-up skills in a multi-tasking environment.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to manage relationships at all levels in the organisation.
- Capable of handling detailed and complex contract negotiations.
- Understanding of commercial terms and conditions of purchase
