**Your New Role**

This is a casual role working in Portsmouth Museum and Art Gallery's small café and the post holder will need to have experience of working in a catering environment. It is also important that the successful post holder has a real interest in our museums and the experiences they offer to visitors.

The café is open Tuesday to Sunday every week, we are looking for a number of casual staff to work a range of shifts/hours.

**What you’ll need to succeed**

You will have excellent customer care skills to welcome and engage the customer and encourage repeat visits. You will have practical and relevant experience of working in a busy, cafe-style environment. You will also have the ability to follow instructions, i.e. menus, recipes, guidelines, Codes of Practice. (For example: Health & Safety and Hygiene Practices).
