Pepper Advantage is one of the leading specialist loan servicing companies in the UK and we are currently looking for a **Commercial Real Estate Specialist** with proven experience in customer service and mortgage administration, both in a commercial and regulated loans environment.

As the Commercial Real Estate Specialist, you will be working within an established team as a key part of Pepper's operations, receiving ample support to ensure that you are successful in your role. Day-to-day, this will involve assisting the manager inthe running of a portfolio, communicating with customers and reporting directly to the client

**As a Commercial Real Estate Specialist, your main responsibilities will include**:

- Effectively handling inbound and outbound customer and third-party calls, offering excellent customer service at all times
- Discussing and negotiating arrears positions e.g. arrangements, capitalisation, loan workouts, shortfall sales etc.
- Monitoring agreed strategies to ensure they are complied with and taking further action in accordance with the primary and special servicing manuals where appropriate
- Creating and submitting referrals to the line manager for all requests outside mandate
- Delivering accurate and timely processing of loan administration activities
- Regular communication with customers and clients
- Conducting all primary servicing activities

**Essential Skills**:

- Experience with buy to let mortgages
- Phone-based customer service experience
- Insolvency/collections - The ability to understand and appropriately utilise systems and processes for the benefit of debt collection.
- Legal and compliance - The ability to understand and utilise legislative requirements for the benefit of the organisation.
- Risk - The ability to assess and mitigate risk for the benefit of the organisation.
- Customer service and commercial awareness - The drive to understand, agree, and satisfy customer requirements (internal and external) and deliver a high-quality service to them. Also, an awareness of the commercial impact of what you do.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Self-reliant and self-motivated.
- Able to work within established internal controls and maintain a high standard of quality across all your tasks.
- Detail orientated and able to work to tight deadlines.
