Pod Talent are excited to be partnered up with one of the UK's leading sustainable food brands with $1.3 billion turnover and they are looking for a Junior Buyer professional to join their team in Central London.

In this role you will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies to achieve costs targets, building and optimising supplier relationships as well as negotiating supplier agreements.

About the role:
As a Junior Buyer you will
- Identify, source and onboard new raw material suppliers when the business requires
- Establish strong relationship with new and existing suppliers as well as liaising with the team in China
- Negotiate effectively and efficiently in order to contribute into the overall business growth goals and objectives
- Be accountable for the order processing and order management
- In charge of producing and updating KPI reports for annual supplier reviews, monthly board meetings and supplier tender exercises

About you:

- 1-2 years experience in Buying/Purchasing/Procurement
- Negotiation skills and sourcing skills
- Food and beverage, consumer goods background
- Great analytical skills (Excel + ERP system)
- Ambitious, self starter and able to prioritise workload
- Great communication skills both written and verbal
