We have a great opportunity for a Junior Buyer to work for an established organisation.
To assist with purchasing decisions and processes. Ideal for a Procurement assistant looking to develop their experience, the Junior Buyer is responsible for the purchase of goods, materials and services to ensure that the companys operational needs are met, considering price, quality and delivery time, to ensure continuity of supply. This role reports to the Procurement Manager.

Accountabilities
The major responsibility of this role is the purchasing of materials/services at prices which are competitive and within budget, at the required quality to ensure that company requirements are met
Negotiate commercial terms and drive commercial improvements with New and Existing Suppliers
Identify and drive process improvements (Internal/External)
Supplier Maintenance

oEstablish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers
oRegular monitoring of suppliers regarding Quality, Delivery and Price

oCreate and maintain mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with Suppliers to foster feedback and Continuous Improvement.
oMaintain Supplier Open Order Book. Consisting of contacting external suppliers for delivery dates and informing internal stakeholders & updating MRP system
Maintenance of Part Information and Suggestion Status
Process Purchase Requisitions, Suggestion, Place Orders, Maintain those orders

Resolve invoice/goods in queries and variances
Update computer supplier database with relevant information
Effectively communicate with other members of staff on all matters relating to Purchasing
Assist Training New Starters of the Department

Assist the Buyers in their day to day
Any other duties determined by the Management Team

Monday to Friday.
