**Role Overview**:
We’re looking for a potential IT people and project manager who will provide leadership to the Technical Solutions team, owning UK IT projects, UK IT Technology Strategy and deliver third line support.

**Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on**
- Co-ordinate the daily activities of the UK IT Technical Solutions team.
- Member of UK IT Leadership team.
- Drive development and delivery of the UK IT Technology 1 year, 3 year and 5-year strategy.
- Act as escalation point to UK IT customers and team for service-related issues.
- Deliver UK IT third line support with root cause analysis and preventative focus through Problem Management.
- Manage UK IT related Change Requests through the Group IT Change Management process.
- Work closely in collaboration with Group IT technical teams in order to increase service knowledge, improve processes and offer a seamless support service.
- Drive the Continual Service Improvement culture by encouraging others to put forward improvement ideas and track progress on resulting actions.
- to ensure lessons learned are captured from selected tickets.
- Lead UK IT Major Incidents and ensure Major Incident reviews are complete.
- Ensure team follow internal IT Service Management processes accurately and ensure all incidents and requests are logged in the ITSM platform.
- Co-ordinate team training and education requirements using the UK IT team skills matrix.
- Support UK IT Manager with business stakeholder relationship management and Supplier Management.
- Support UK IT Manager with Financial Management and manage relevant CAPEX budgets.

**Your previous experience is likely to include.**
- Prior experience of working in a technical IT Team Leader role.
- Experience providing IT support to organisations with 250+ devices spread over multiple geographic sites.
- Experience supporting a range of audio-visual solutions.
- Experience supporting Windows 10 and Office 2013 or later.
- Experience supporting mobile devices including iPhone and Android.
- Experience supporting environments with Dell Technologies or similar.
- Leading delivery of technology projects such as Audio-Visual Implementations.
- Stakeholder management and requirements gathering.
- Vendor Management.

**To be successful in this role you will**
- Have knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office Suite, ideally 2013 or later.
- Have coherent use of English and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to exercise patience and professionalism in stressful situations.
- Ability to self-organise and proactively initiate own work actions.
- Able to self-initiate effective collaboration across teams.
- Able to co-ordinate actions of multiple team members to deliver on a shared objective.
