We are looking to appoint Assembly Apprentices within the Assembly department based at our Head Quarters in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent.

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who are keen to learn about all the aspects of Assembly. You will be placed on a rotational training programme, working alongside our experienced assembly teams learning various hand skills such as drilling, tapping, riveting and the assembly of products.
- **Operation of various handheld tools and machinery**
- **Operation of overhead crane equipment**
- **Safe handling of products**
- **Assembly of mechanical products**
- **Following engineering drawings and standard operating procedures**
- **Quality and quantity checking**

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a at least five GCSEs including Maths, English at D/3 or above. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a willingness to work towards the apprenticeship and show the right aptitude and commitment.

Typical duration of the apprenticeship is 18 Months, which includes a week long residential development programme in the Peak District. During the programme you will take part in a number of indoor and outdoor activities to help you develop both personally and professionally.

The above position will be rewarded with a permanent contract, progressive rates of pay, 32 days paid holidays per year plus loyalty days (up to 34 days), auto-enrolment into our pension scheme which includes 5% employer contributions and employee life insurance. Other benefits include company sick pay, an optional company saving scheme, and a cycle-to-work scheme. All employees are encouraged to develop within their role, therefore additional training will be given where necessary.
