The Ward Clerk is a vital member of the Pearce Ward team providing essential clerical and administrative support. We are seeking a highly organized, reliable individual with excellent time-management skills and strong communication abilities. The role requires a commitment to delivering a high standard of service to both patients and staff.
The Ward Clerk will be responsible for maintaining clear communication with patients' families, providing updates and acting as a key point of liaison. This includes coordinating patient admissions to the ward, updating the HIVE system, and handling phone calls professionally and efficiently.
The role operates within established policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines to ensure smooth operations within the department. Additionally, the Ward Clerk will have the opportunity to contribute to improving best practices and ensuring that high-quality standards are consistently maintained.
37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. 8-4pm
