**Job Title: Multi-Product Designer (Gifts & Food)**
**Job Purpose**: We’re seeking a talented and highly creative Multi-Product Designer to create beautifully crafted designs across a wide range of food and gift categories. As a designer focused on the intersection of aesthetics and functionality, you will help shape the visual identity of our product offerings and bring innovative ideas to life. A strong emphasis on **Photoshop skills** will be key as you will play a critical role in designing marketing materials, packaging, and promotional content that aligns with the brand’s vision and objectives.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Trend Research & Concept Development**: Stay up to date with current trends in the food, gift, and seasonal markets. Develop new concepts and seasonal theme boards that are inspired by both timeless and contemporary designs.
- **Visual Creation**: Utilise Photoshop to create high-quality visual assets for product designs, including digital mock-ups, packaging designs, and marketing materials that align with the brand's identity.
- **Brand & Market Research**: Research both aspirational brands and competitors in the food and gift market to understand our unique selling proposition (USP) and identify missed opportunities.
- **Sourcing & Vendor Collaboration**: Create detailed sourcing boards and collaborate with suppliers, ensuring smooth communication between design development and production.
- **Packaging Design**: Manage and create innovative packaging designs that enhance the consumer experience while keeping functionality and sustainability in mind.
- **Creative Direction**: Build and manage concept boards for new product lines, color palettes, and seasonal themes. Present designs to key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- **Production Management**: Oversee the product development cycle from concept to final production, working closely with the product and production teams to address any production or costing issues.
- **Supplier Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, both long and short-lead, to anticipate challenges and ensure timely delivery.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure that all designs meet the highest quality standards and adhere to brand guidelines, particularly for premium food and gift products.
**Key Skills and Experience**:
- **Strong Photoshop Skills**: Proficiency in Photoshop is a must, as you will be required to create detailed product visuals, packaging, and promotional materials for our gift and food offerings.
- **Experience in Product Design**: Proven experience designing products within the food, gift, or related industries, with an eye for both aesthetics and functionality.
- **Packaging Design Experience**: Ability to design innovative packaging that enhances product appeal, is functional, and aligns with sustainability goals.
- **Knowledge of Print & Digital Design**: Experience in designing for both print and digital mediums, particularly for food packaging, labels, and gift products.
- **Creative Vision**: Experience in creating seasonal and trend-based designs, particularly in the gift and food sectors, and an ability to adapt trends to suit the brand's identity.
- **Technical Skills**: Ability to create technical packs for products, ensuring design specifications are met throughout the production process.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present ideas, collaborate with suppliers, and work with cross-functional teams.
- **Time Management**: Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, managing design deadlines and ensuring timely delivery of designs and product concepts.
- **Experience**: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in product design, particularly in the food, gift, or related sectors, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in design software, particularly Photoshop.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
