We are currently working with a leading Recycling business in the Dorset area looking to secure a Supervisor for their busy site, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a hands-on role with the opportunity to continue professionaldevelopment
**Supervisor**
This is a hands-on supervisory role which will require an enthusiastic individual who is self-motivated, but also able to follow instructions and is keen to learn, in a fast paced, dynamic environment
**The Role**
- To promote and ensure all Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed
- Reporting of production figures
- Managing the throughput material
- Check sheets
- Fire Registers
- Risk Assessments
- Safe Systems of Work
- Interviewing potential employees
- Supervision of a large, diverse workforce of varying skill sets
- Assisting as and when required, to ensure blockages on processing systems are cleared in a safe and timely manner
- Ensure the highest level of cleanliness is always maintained in areas of responsibility
**About You**
- IOSH Managing Safely
- Must have mobile plant tickets - wheeled loading shovel, slew and forklift
- Good supervisory and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Able to manage your own time effectively
- Knowledge and experience of working and supervising in a production team
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office
- Flexible approach to work
- A team player, willing to help and support colleagues in all areas of operations
- Flexible with a 'can-do’ attitude to tasks with the ability to stay calm under pressure
