_Internal Sales _
**Buttle's Builders Merchants are seeking an enthusiastic Internal Sales professional to help drive sales forward and build customer relations at our Leighton Buzzard branch.**

You will be part of a dedicated internal sales team committed to growing our branch sales. You will be looking after a wide range of sales enquiries, whilst continually trying to develop new and existing business opportunities. Your role may also pro-actively assist with our trade counter sales, therefore high levels of customer service are required.

Buttle’s is a well-respected independent builder’s merchant with a network of branches in St Albans & Leighton Buzzard. We've been delivering on customer service for over 100 years

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Co-ordinate internal sales activities including some Trade Counter sales.
- Proactively contacting customers to promote our products and services.
- Advise and explain Buttle's product range and services to customers.
- Responding to a wide range of queries from customers (both trade and retail).
- Sourcing non-standard products and negotiating prices.
- Assisting with all areas of the branch operations as necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Relevant persuasive telesales, cross and upselling skills
- Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word; Epicor/BisTrack knowledge would also be an advantage.
- Relevant product knowledge and previous sales experience in the Timber and Building materials sector is preferred.
