**Commercial Manager (Cosmetics manufacturing)**

**£40,000 + Bonus and Benefits**

Are you a driven, entrepreneurial and commercially minded account manager?

My client is a leading manufacturer of cosmetics and personal care products. Due to continued growth and success, the opportunity to recruit a Commercial Manager has arisen to work with the Commercial Director in leading specified projects across the departmentsand drive sales growth. This is an opportunity to join the business in a newly created role and to work with some of the UKs biggest brand owners.

**Responsibilities**
- Work with the Commercial Director in leading business improvement projects; Implement efficiency gains; Evaluate budget turnover, volume and profit targets.
- Commercial Management: P&L Management; Quotations; Product costings; Launch reviews; Managing product through it’s lifecycle
- New product development and existing product development (e.g. projects that evolve products already in the market such as label changes, case configurations, formulation modifications)
- Sales Management: Negotiation; Drive sales growth through strategic planning; Cross-selling/identifying new opportunities with existing customers; Budgeting and tracking sales V budget;
- Customer Management: Managing key accounts; Delivering customer presentations; Managing customer briefs and tenders; Monitoring and managing and customer issues
- Order/Stock management: Tracking budgets vs forecasts; Managing and reporting on stock reports; Management of any customer shortages

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Commercial role
- Experience of selling Personal care / Household / Private Label
- Experience of working with or in manufacturing, supply chain, marketing or purchasing.
- Experience of strategy formation and ability to lead projects Retailer ways of working and systems knowledge
- 'Hunter’ mentality, driven, hungry and proactive.
- New product development and project management knowledge.
- People person: Confident communicator, presentation skills. Good verbal communication and good interpersonal
- skills at all levels of the business both internally and externally
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload, problem solve
- Diverse skillset and wide breadth of knowledge; Ability to join the dots.
- Experience of working with Brand Owners, Designers and coordinating between Packaging, Purchasing and Supply chain.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
