**Financial Crime Risk Services Technical Consultant - 12 months fixed term contract**

**(Part-Time, Job-Share and Full-Time)**

**The opportunity**:
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Group Technology and Operations Transformation team as a Technical Consultant of the Financial Crime Risk Services team.

Financial Crime Risk Services operates services to help detect, prevent Financial and disrupt Financial Crime. As Technical Consultant, your role will include lots of creative data analysis and robust reporting, formulation of screening rules and configurations, testing, evidencing and implementation, stakeholder engagement and relationship management, as well as training the Financial Crime Risk Services team and our worldwide customers where required.

You will also assist the team in ensuring that our current services are effectively executed daily, assisting in the timely resolution of all service-related issues to ensure that the ongoing delivery of business objectives and service is delivered for our worldwide customers. You will provide expert technical support for onboarding services and retuning exercises delivering an excellent customer experience in line with departmental service standards.

**What will you be doing?**
- Led and Supported business as usual and transformation activities that include data analysis, stakeholder engagement, formulation of screening rules and configurations, testing, implementation and evidencing performance
- Development of robust performance management reports evidencing KPI/SLA and overall effectiveness and efficiency of the service
- Stakeholder and relationship management: This role will have responsibility for maintaining and developing effective relationships with both internal and external parties who are either key participants within the scope of the services being provided or recipients of the services being provided
- Contribute to the development of standard training manuals for worldwide customers of the Service in the country’s local language using appropriate translation tools
- Supports the technical onboarding of customers and conducting screening rules tuning through the writing of rules within the system, and production of tuning documents
- Supports requests from customers requiring the retuning of their system screening rules.
- Resolves problems escalated from within the Help Desk, providing resolution knowledge and feedback to less experienced staff. Initiates escalation as appropriate to ensure management
- An agile ability to identify, analyse and construct solutions to complex problems arising from both changing stakeholder needs and service changes
- Analysing issues post-resolution and recommending actions to senior management both inside the function and across the wider business to prevent recurrence and improve delivery standards
- Through the resolution of customer issues and the proactive identification of potential issues, this role should support the evolution of the standards of service being offered by the area/function
- Assists with the periodic reviews of both Group minimum standard screening rules, local tuning rules and country tuning recertification
- Supports the development, maintenance and evolution of processes and procedures across the service including, documentation of all technical processes
- Drive efficiency through continuous improvement activities

**What are we looking for?**
- Proficient analytical capability
- Advanced Excel
- SAS or SQL or WPS or similar programming experience
- Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills
- A proven track record in service delivery
- Model behaviours that demonstrate commitment to corporate values.
- Experience within Sanctions and Anti Money Laundering screening systems is a distinct advantage
