Are you a dynamic, enthusiastic individual who can work well within a team and individually, do you have a desire for learning, personal development and supporting the continued development of our Urgent and Emergency Care services? Do you thrive on delivering excellent patient care and experience and could help drive the future aspirations of the department as a member of our team, if so we want to hear from you.
As an organisational and emergency department we are pleased to be advertising a number of clinical and non-clinical roles as part of our ongoing new build and development of the urgent and emergency care services. We are currently having built a brand new purpose built Emergency Department, which comprises of an 6 bedded resus area, Rapid Assessment Triage and ambulance handover area, 35 clinical rooms including a paediatric area, 2 triage rooms and a dedicated area with 6 clinical rooms for the Urgent Care Service, the new build will provide the right environment to see and treat patients attending with an emergency or urgent complaint ensuring they are seen in the right place, by the right person whilst maintaining national emergency care standards.
Whilst the new build offers state of the art patient facilities it has seen significant investment in staff facilities including a large staff rest area and changing facilities. The department also offers an extensive career development pathway and significant investment has been made to support the continued training and education of the ED/UCS team linked to each individual role.
As a result of the increased footprint of the new Emergency Department there has been a comprehensive staffing review of the establishment which has enabled us to work to recommended RCN safe staffing numbers, supporting quality and safe nursing care to all our patients.
We’re a large organisation with three hospitals located in Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Goole. We also provide community services in North Lincolnshire. Our 6,500 members of staff care for and support a population of more than 400,000 people.
We encourage all our staff to innovate and adopt ‘best practice’ so we can deliver excellent care to our patients. We ask staff to live our values; kindness, courage and respect.
We are committed to recruiting the best people to work with us. You could be one of them.
In line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Recruitment & Workforce team will use and hold your personal data for the intended purpose and in line with the Recruitment & Workforce Privacy Statement.
“We are committed to safeguarding the welfare of children/vulnerable adults and expect the same commitment from all staff and volunteers”.
