**About the Role**

We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Cook to join our busy kitchen. As part of our team, you’ll play a vital role in preparing a variety of meals that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents. You’ll ensure every dish is cooked with care and served with pride, maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and hygiene.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and prepare meals in line with dietary requirements and health needs.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to food safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to manage a busy service schedule.
- Manage stock and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.
- Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant or kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Chef: 1 year (preferred)
- Kitchen experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Cooking: 2 years (required)

Work Location: In person
- Expected start date: 16/01/2025
