**Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role**:
- This is a seven-bed short break service, we offer short breaks to people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism and complex needs.
- We provide person centred care and are flexible to meet the needs of the people we support; we need highly motivated people with experience to join our team as an Advanced Support Worker.
- In this role you will support people with personal care, medication and social activities such as pamper nights, trampolining and playing board games.
- You will know how to connect with people and be passionate about supporting people to live independently. You will also be a brilliant mentor and share your skills and experiences with your colleagues.
**Your values**:
**You must hold a Level 3 in Social Care or have strong experience working within the Health and Social Care sector as we support people with a variety of needs including mental health, autism, sensory communication and physical health.**
If you do not have a qualification, you will need to have experience in social care.
We will develop your talents with a range of specialist training, including the opportunity to learn Positive Behaviour Support methods.
During recruitment you will meet the people we support in their home. This will allow you to see their wonderful personalities first-hand and fully understand the level of support that they require.
