**The role**

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will ensure that our sites are clean, safe, presentable and ready for day to day operational use. Duties will include:

- Daily bin rotations, cleaning and maintaining refuse points, security checks, cleaning / sweeping and litter picking of building entrances and communal areas
- Basic gardening tasks (weeding / hedge trimming)
- Supervision of subcontractors
- Porterage
- Basic plumbing
- Basic joinery
- Replacing lamps
- Low level window cleaning
- Painting and graffiti removal
- Clearing debris from gutters and unblocking drainage services
- Assist in emergency and evacuation procedures.
- When necessary you will assist in the event of snow clearance or emergency response situations (leaks / storm damage) and assist other colleagues within the Facilities Team.

You will monitor the overall standards of cleanliness and infrastructure, including fixtures and fittings reporting back to the Maintenance Manager on any issues.

**Your background**

Experience working within a similar Caretaker or Facilities position would be highly desirable, with a natural ability to be the face of our company when dealing with clients.

Physically fit, comfortable with working at height (ladders) and outdoors.

Well-organised and capable of prioritizing your own workload. Flexibility to working outside core hours, covering holidays / absenteeism or call out rota.
