HFD have an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join our Head Office team based at our offices at Strathclyde Business Park, Glasgow.

The purpose of the Bookkeeper role is to ensure efficiency and accuracy in the recording of transactional detail for the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions for the group.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Sales Ledger - Raising ad-hoc Customer invoices/credit notes.
- Purchase Ledger - processing supplier invoices, payments, and monthly statement reconciliations.
- Bank Reconciliation - Ensure all transactions are processed daily and appropriately reconciled weekly.
- Review and maintain accurate Record Management.
- Prepare accounts to trial balance stage.
- Assist in the preparation of Management Accounts.
- Administration of electronic and manual bank records/mandates as required.
- VAT Return preparation.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
- Credit Card reconciliation and control.
- Inter Company reconciliation and control.
**Experience/Qualifications**:
- Experience working in a similar role.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications such as Excel, Outlook and Word
- Payroll experience preferred but not essential.
- Work efficiently with good time management.
- Ability to work on your own initiative, although also as part of a team.
- Familiarity with financial regulations.
