**About the Position**

We’re looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with a proven background in SaaS sales and business development. Reporting to the CEO and working hand in hand with the Marketing and Product teams, you’ll be responsible for delivering the UK sales target through acquiring new customers and expanding our channel and reseller partners.

You’ll be responsible for leading our sales team, helping us reach both Government and Commercial Customers with a focus on acquisition of new logos, and is a perfect role for someone with experience building and scaling B2B sales teams looking for their next challenge.

Experience in a senior post in B2B SaaS sales is essential, as is experience in the Information Security Market. You will need to have a proven track record of successful sales management, coaching, sales analytics and sales process optimisation within a startup environment.

**What will I do?**
- Take ownership of the sales target for the UK business, and manage the sales team, working to meet or exceed agreed targets
- Drive the sales, marketing and business development functions of the business, ensuring our customers have a fantastic experience at every stage of the purchasing process
- Work closely with the marketing, product and wider support channels to ensure customer experience is second to none, resulting in recurring revenue and a solid sales pipeline.
- Help manage the commercial offer to customers, including supporting the Go To Market strategy and refining sales processes
- Be the company authority on competitor intelligence and market trends and expectations; contributing to product development through your findings as well as customer feedback
- Partner with our Talent Manager to recruit and manage a sales team that will grow significantly over the next 6-18 months, developing effective onboarding, training and coaching to maximise performance
- Lead from the front from a sales point of view, developing prospects and opportunities, preparing and delivering presentations and demos where necessary
- Provide quantitative and qualitative updates to the CEO and board, setting the sales roadmap.
- Managing the commercial relationships with our suppliers, including the sourcing and negotiation of contracts with our suppliers

**What are we looking for?**
- Strong experience in a senior sales leadership role at a SaaS Tech software company, ideally a start up or similar in the security sector
- We need someone who isn't concerned about leading from the front (especially in the early days), getting involved with some of the sales function yourself
- Passionate about providing innovative and effective solutions for customers
- Experience contributing to, and successfully delivering Go To Market Strategy, engaging stakeholders across the business to ensure it’s embedded into business process and delivered upon
- Proven track record of building sustainable relationships with external stakeholders, evidence of a good client network in the target industrial sectors would be very beneficial
- Strong commercial acumen and mindset, financially astute with demonstrable experience in driving commerciality within a business
- Experience of accurate sales forecasting and effective pipeline management, use of Salesforce preferred
- Demonstrable evidence of having a broad base of consultative selling experience, especially for tech-enabled value propositions and innovation services.

- Experience of working in a startup or scale up environment
