As a Shift Operator you’ll be part of a large Operational team, striving for goal zero from a safety perspective, continuously improving site standards, and working with a range of different assets designed to protect the environment and produce high quality effluent. Aside from Health and Safety, the number one objective is to achieve zero pollutions and sample failures. With support and training you’ll become part of a team of experts who are at the front line of enhancing our regions rivers. Day to day you’ll be responsible for make sure our treatment processes are working optimally to deliver this important work. But don’t worry there will be plenty of people on hand to support and come up with solutions to help you succeed. We’ll also welcome your ideas and a new mindset to continually improve what we do on a day-to-day basis at one of our largest sites here at Wanlip sewerage treatment works.

**LET'S TELL YOU MORE**:
As a Shift Operator, you’ll be following wastewater treatment processes and have a commitment to health and safety. Whilst you will be working as part of a team of 6 shift operators, covering a 24/7 shift pattern on a rotational basis, sometimes as part of a team of two operators, at others on your own. When working alone you will always support from the Operators, Maintenance Technicians, and management. You will be using different IT systems to monitor and control the wastewater treatment processes. The shift pattern will be a mix of mornings 6:00-14:00, days 7:30-15:30 and afternoons 14:00-22:00, plus a night shift, 22:00-06:00.
