We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual who is passionate about helping to support the Safeguarding Adults Team

You will be embedded within the Community Assessment and Treatment Service and will be instrumental in supporting the varying administrative support needs of this workstream. This will give you the opportunity to work with colleagues across the system of Adult Social Care, Community Social Care Providers, Voluntary Sectors, CCG's and Local Authorities across Sussex.

As the Safeguarding Team Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the team in various administrative tasks including:

- Diary management
- Arranging Section 42 safeguarding meetings with stakeholders across various outside agencies within Brighton and Hove which may contain sensitive and distressing information
- Coordinating meeting/ bookings using platforms such as Skype, MS Teams & Zoom.
- Taking and recording minutes and key action points
- Preparing and distributing meeting documents
- Room booking
- Taking minutes at the weekly Cluster Meetings and recording discussion on Care Notes (patient information system)
- Scope MARAC for weekly Meetings
- Dealing with telephone calls from service users
- Updating various spread sheets (Excel)
- Uploading documents onto the Patient Information System
- There will be a great deal of support given by your Line Manager, office buddy and team members, allowing the space for reflection and team connectedness; particularly when working remotely.
- We also offer monthly supervision and yearly appraisals.
- There are also opportunities to undertake apprenticeships at all levels

**REQUIREMENTS**:
In order to be a successful Team Administrator in our team you will have:

- Extensive knowledge of a full range of secretarial procedures
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Excellent range of communication skills and good interpersonal skills

MAIN DUTIES
- To provide excellent administrative and secretarial support, using appropriate software packages
- To arrange meetings with outside agencies including Local Authorities and Police Dept. This includes preparing and distributing meeting documentation including agendas, minutes and action logs.

The Team Administrator is responsible for ensuring the effective management of the Safeguarding Team working closely with social workers within the service.
