Care assistant needed at The Argyle Residential Home.

We would like someone who is caring, willing, and works well in a team ,has good communications skills with colleagues ,and Residents, and also has a good understanding of dementia care.

Flexibility towards shifts is required.

Shifts start from 8am till 3pm, evenings start from 3pm till 8pm.

36+ hours a week over seven days. Alternate weekends. Experience not essential, full training will be given and chance to do diplomas.

We are a family run home with up to 27 bedrooms.

Our Residents and staff are our main priority so we want someone to keep up the spirits

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help clients with household tasks, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
- Escort clients to appointments or social activities
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate supervisor

Qualifications:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately
- Proficient in English language

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.20-£12.40 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week
