**About the Vacancy**:

- To take responsibility for all aspects of quality and conformance on a manufacturing site. This will include ISO 9000 (quality) and UKAS 17025
- Ensuring the maintenance and improvement of all quality certifications within the company
- To chair Quality Meetings including developing reporting and distribution of minutes
- To carry out monthly analysis of customer quality performance levels (Despatch, Returns and Internal Scrap) and taking the necessary actions to ensure objectives and targets are achieved
- To develop and adhere to a customer quality meeting schedule for agreed customers
- To review quality performance with customers and agree on any necessary actions.
- To minute all quality meetings (internal and external)
- To carry out Internal Auditing to ensure all company procedures are being adhered to and raising the necessary paperwork and corrective actions
- To carry out any quality related task relevant to the product, customer or quality system
- To collate weekly / monthly quality figures as and when necessary
- To assist with continuous improvement projects
- To manage a Quality Engineer
- Leading on any non-conformance investigations and the implementation of remedial action
- Ensuring that all product testing is carried out in accordance with agreed parameters and results collated and recorded (UKAS accredited Laboratory)

**About You**:

- Experience of working as a Quality Manager or Lead Quality Engineer
- Experience of the manufacturing sector is essential - functions include sheetmetal work and fabrication, mechanical and electrical assembly, testing and despatch
- A formal qualification to Degree level is very much preferred
- Experience of managing formal quality systems
- Experience of supplier quality management
- Experience of managing people in a quality environment
- **C**ustomer facing with suppliers and customers
- Audit experience preferred
- Supplier quality management experience beneficial
- Any exposure to the following standards is beneficial
