NAES Corporation has over 4500 employees with a strong pedigree and reputation in the power generation industry.We are seeking a wide range of people to join our team with a view to developing a long-term relationship where our first-class delivery is the shop window for our next project.PositionQuality Manager – Power Generation Construction ProjectsLocation: UK based power generation project sitesReports to: NPS Site ManagerPurpose of RoleThe Quality Manager ensures that all construction activities for power generation projects comply with ISO 9001, UK regulatory standards, and project-specific quality requirements.This role involves developing and implementing Quality Management Systems (QMS), conducting audits, supporting progress management and driving continuous improvement across complex engineering and construction environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement the Project Quality Plan and associated procedures.Ensure compliance with contractual, statutory, and regulatory requirements.Oversee quality assurance and quality control activities across civil, mechanical, and electrical works.A specific capability and understanding of welding processes and associated quality control is essentialEstablish and execute risk-based audit schedules (internal and external).Conduct inspections and manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective actions.Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and energy sector standards.Liaise with EPC contractors, Owner’s Engineer, and regulatory bodies.Communicate quality objectives and performance metrics to project teams.Support supply chain quality planning and review deliverables.Lead investigations into quality issues and implement root cause analysis.Identify lessons learned and integrate them into future projects.Maintain accurate quality records and prepare monthly quality reports.Ensure document control processes are followed for traceability.Coordinate third-party audits and inspections.Skills & QualificationsEssential :Extensive experience in quality management within power generation or large infrastructure projects.Extensive knowledge of PED, ASME, TUV and other industrial standardsStrong knowledge of ISO 9001 and UK construction standards.Certified ISO 9001 : 2015 Lead Auditor.SMSTS or NEBOSH certification; CSCS card.A high level of computer literacyDesirableDegree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.Personal AttributesEffective communicatorCustomer focusedStrong written and verbal communication at all levelsCapable of delivering results in a diverse, ever-changing environmentAccepts accountability and program ownershipData focused decision maker #J-18808-Ljbffr
