**ENGIE are recruiting for a BI Lead to be based in our Shared Service Centre in Newcastle, NE12 8EX however location can be flexible. This is a full-time 12-month Fix Term Contract working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.**

On offer is a salary banding of £28,000 - £38,000, dependent upon skills and experience.
FTC - 12months role based at our shared service centre in Newcastle, however this can be flexible.

**About the role**:
This role is to support the Head of Business Intelligence in the delivery of actionable insights within the SSC, to key stakeholders across the UK and global partners (GBS). A key part of the BI Lead role is to share expertise and lead in the delivery of actionable insight. Supporting and coaching analysts in the team will be essential.

The delivery of high-quality data solutions will create efficiencies, reduce waste, improve compliance and enable better decision making across the ENGIE UK Shared Service Centre. Developments will be varied across a range of service lines with focus on creating robust solutions that enable high quality data capture; self-serve solutions; actionable insight and creative visualisations.

**Main Responsibilities/Duties Include**:

- Support the creation of a reporting database to host a single version of truth that will be utilised across BI outputs (SQL server)
- Ability to support and coach team colleagues, demonstrating best practice and leading by example
- Oversee the delivery of daily report production, ensuring SLAs and quality standards are met
- Analyse data sources to identify key trends, opportunities for improvement and actionable insights
- Demonstrate creativity in the presentation of data visualisations to engage end users
- Continuously improve end user reporting solutions to ensure they are fit for purpose and proactively streamline team ways of working
- Remain up to date with new technologies and investigate new and innovative ways to share data
- Maintain robust procedures and processes are in place to ensure team best practice and high-quality outputs
- High level of engagement with key business stakeholders
- Take a lead on the prioritisation of team work items

**Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience**:

- Familiar with Business Intelligence tools (E.g. PowerBI; Business Objects; MicroStrategy or similar).
- Familiarity with SQL language
- Proficient in Business Intelligence Development with significant experience in designing and delivering end user self-serve BI solutions
- Ability to create end user reporting in BI technologies such as Business Objects, MicroStrategy, Microsoft BI Stack or similar
- Proven track record supporting and coaching colleagues in a BI role
- Experience in SharePoint Designer and InfoPath would be advantageous
- Experience in Microsoft Access is desired albeit not essential
- Knowledge and experience of working with SAP or ERPs is desirable but not essential
- Ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audience through verbal and written form
- Ability to manage time effectively and ensure delivery against deadlines
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills
- Must be able to obtain Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) clearance.
