We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Coordinator - Maternity Cover to join our site in Bromborough, working Monday to Friday from 7.00 am to 15.30 pm.

The purpose of this role is to ensure we have the correct people and skills within our production functions, liaising with Area Managers to ensure correct requirements to production plans, being the liaison between HR and Operations.

**Your main responsibilities will be**:

- Responsible for the labour planning, ensuring all tools used are kept up to date.
- Always be available for all meetings where required.
- Liaise with the agency departments, ordering the daily requirements and recruitment into permanent employees.
- Report faults, so they can be put right quickly, to keep downtime to a minimum.
- Maintaining factory cleaning standards and encouraging others to do the same.
- Making recommendations for any adjustments necessary to achieve product and process specification, and daily try to improve line efficiencies.
- To ensure the site is audit ready always and in line with our procedures.
- Actively reduce floor waste by ensuring the product is handled correctly.
- Participate in external Quality and Food Safety audits and customer technical visits taking the lead within their department or area of responsibility.
- Support and be involved in the regular review and achievement of the site Quality and Food Safety objectives.
- To be aware that your role and the procedures are designed to ensure the safety and quality standards of the food we produce.

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate that you are:

- Self-motivated
- Able to work in a chilled environment.
- Able to adapt to new working practices.
- Knowledgeable to Microsoft Office package such as Microsoft Word & Excel
- Able to adapt to new working practices.
- Health and Safety Awareness
- Previous experience on production line an advantage
