We are recruiting for a Chef De Partie for our client delivering IFM services. They are one of the largest facilities management providers in the world and this is an exciting time to join the team.

*The Position*

The main assignments you will be responsible for are, but not limited to:

- To prepare and cook all food and vegetables
- To assist in the preparation and cooking of other foodstuffs as directed by the Chef Manager
- To assist in the service of food from the kitchen
- To ensure that your workstation is as clean and hygienic as possible at all times
- To operate at all times within the statutory and Company regulations pertaining to health, hygiene and safety
- To receive goods and put away according to legislation
- To assist in all areas of the kitchen as needed for cover or training purposes
- Assisting with ordering, menu planning as directed by the Chef Manager
- To ensure that stock is maintained to an adequate level, rotated and assist with stock taking
- Transporting of food and equipment for hospitality services
- To assist in the washing of crockery and kitchen equipment
- To assist with the set up and breakdown of counters
- Taking and maintaining of food and fridge temperature records, all HACCP records & allergens
- General cleaning duties
- Follow social media policy at all times
- Maintain standards and professionalism whilst delivering services around site
- To take all necessary steps to ensure maximum security of the kitchen, store, office, safe and monies and any other areas under control, especially at evening service
- Liaise with the Catering Manager, Chef Manager, Chef and Food Service Assistants on the planning of daily shift activities, ensuring adequate staffing levels for evening service
- You will be supporting the Catering Manager.

*About you - your skills*
- Experience of dealing with customer queries.
- Experience of working within a hospitality area
- Sound knowledge of how to communicate with people.
- Great communication skills.

This is a fast paced environment, 400+ meals are served daily. Customer satisfaction is paramount and must be seen to be in operation at all times.
