**Buyer | Ladieswear | Manchester | up to £45,000**
Here at Zachary Daniels we are partnering with a fast-growing, multi-product ladieswear brand as they look for their next Buyer. This business has now had its milestone year and wish to continue their success as they continue to dominate their space in thefashion market.
To join this business you will need to be an experienced, ladieswear buyer already who has a proven track record of working well under pressure. In this role you will explore your love for product in a creative & collaborative environment where you will begiven the tools to have full autonomy of your department.
- Have developed Buyers Admin Assistants, Assistant Buyers and/or Junior Buyers
- Examples of reviewing ways of working and improving efficiencies
- Range Building
- On boarding new suppliers
- Supplier visits
- Softs & wovens experience is essential

Responsibilities include:

- Building lessons learnt presentations for the SLT and Owners
- Clear ability to communicate Best & Worst indicators and building strategy points from these learnings
- Review pricing architectures
- Plan with Merchandiser buys and build well-balanced ranges
- Ability to identify gaps within ranges and capitalise on new opportunities
- Review colour, prints, shapes whilst protecting best sellers but at all times introducing newness to keep ranges moving forward
- Experience with trading from the Far East and closer to home (short & long lead)
- Maintain supplier relationships whilst onboarding new suppliers to the business
- Able to source new fabrics and trims as well as having experience sourcing more sustainable fabrications
- Experience of test and trial methods to drive newness and profit for your department
- Reputable trading performance at margin level and cash sales
- Ability to dive into historical and new data for your department so that commercial decisions can be made from a trading point of view
- Manage Monday Trade reports and key actions for your department to take
- Ability to oversee the wider team for critical path and delivery schedule
- Manage and communicate any stock issues, delays, cancellations with your Merchandiser
- Manage and prepare for product launches
- Work closely with Merchandiser to plan and prepare forecasting and projections for large volume buys
- Conduct cross costing projects to protect and increase BIM
- Attend trend and design meetings with internal & external stakeholders
