**Join Southern Housing as an Estate Maintenance Operative**

**Are you a hands-on professional with a passion for keeping homes safe, functional, and welcoming?**

At Southern Housing, we’re looking for a dedicated Estate Maintenance Operative to deliver top-tier repairs and maintenance services across our estates. From ensuring health and safety compliance to managing contractors and completing void property turnarounds, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the quality and comfort of our residents’ homes. If you're ready to make a real impact in a role that values precision, safety, and service excellence—this could be the perfect fit for you.

The role is required to be on site 5 days in the office, 08:30am - 16:30pm.

**What you’ll need**
- Knowledge of equality and diversity good practice
- Knowledge of fire, health and safety regulations in a residential setting
- Knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, tiling and electrical industry standards
- Basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, tiling, painting and decorating skills
- The ability to manage demanding workloads
- The ability to work under own initiative
- The ability to work with others to deliver joint objectives
