**Salary**
Range from £40,000 to £45,000 per annum
**Job Purpose**
Reporting to the Maintenance Process Manager you will be an integral member of the Support APU. Working closely with both the operational team and wider British Sugar support teams you will play an important role in delivering maintenance deployment through the use of, and continual improvement of, standard work processes.
**Your core accountabilities**
- Builds and maintains highly effective interfaces with APU Teams and External Contractors, to define robust work schedules for the week and month ahead, which meet operational needs and work priorities/timescales.
- Has responsibility for scheduling all planned, preventative maintenance (PPM) work, and ensuring effective communications take place with APU teams so that work plans / schedules meet business needs.
- Construction of technician shift patterns within the CMMS system, identifying significant maintenance resource conflicts utilising insights from ‘Dimensions’ based employee attendance information.
- Manage compliance documentation and coordinate statutory inspections between external Competent Persons and APU teams. Review statutory inspection reports for pressure system, local exhaust ventilation systems and lifting equipment; create corrective Work Orders and support APU team to deliver.
- Eliminate potential delays and obstacles through direct support of APU teams and Contractors by purchasing / stock management of parts.
**Critical Skills, Knowledge and Competencies**
- A detailed understanding of industrial plant engineering is desirable.
- Strong IT skills - particularly CMMS systems and JDE.
- Good communication skills including sharing technical information with non-financial teams.
- Ability to organise and prioritise.
- Driven with a desire to achieve.
- Works on own initiative and ability to work as part of a team.
