**Key Responsibilities**:

- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Work closely with developers to understand software requirements and design features.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
- Document and report test results, and provide clear, actionable feedback to the development team.
- Participate in design and code reviews to provide insights on testability and potential issues.
- Maintain and update automated testing frameworks and scripts.
- Ensure that all software releases meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies and tools.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in software testing or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web services (REST, SOAP).
