Culina Group, a well established leader in the logistics market is recruiting for a Payroll Technical Advisor on a fixed term basis to be based at our Market Drayton site.

The Payroll Technical Advisor will report to the Head of Shared Services, and be a part of the OneSAP programme. This is a hands-on, delivery focussed role with responsibility for ensuring the payroll technical specification within the new HCM / HRIS system(SAP SuccessFactors) meets all of Culina Groups requirements.

The Payroll Technical Advisor will work with the Head of HR Shared Services, HR Operations teams and OneSAP project team to oversee the consolidation of payrolls, data migration, lead rigorous User Acceptance Testing and ensure parallel runs are successfullycompleted.

As the Payroll Technical Advisor you will be responsible for:

- The E2E delivery of the payroll element of the OneSAP project.
- Ensure the team has an E2E mind-set and is continually seeking and acting on improvement opportunities across the full E2E.
- Ensuring configuration requirements are correct, meeting the needs of the business, processes and ways of working.
- Understand business issues and constraints and recommend best practice solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional work streams to provide support and guidance for data migrations and operational activities.
- Capture and document payroll requirements as appropriate.
- Ensure that lessons learned activities from a functional and technical point of view are completed, communicated and embedded into future rollouts.
- Document any deviations from agreed standards and report them to project team.
- Act as the primary escalation point with the OneSAP/OneHR project for all project issues related to the functional / technical implementation
- Lead on all Payroll testing activities, including UAT, continually reviewing Payroll test scenarios to ensure all eventualities are covered and within scope.
- Support on all data migration activities, cut over planning and all aspects of implementation
- With business payroll teams, lead on all Payroll parallel run activities, ensuring all Payroll operational tasks are delivered within the agreed project timelines. Working in collaboration with the Payroll and Project team to effectively manage all risksand issues.
- Mentoring project resources
- Work with payroll implementation team (SI) on the build of the system.

**Qualifications**
- Highly experienced Payroll Manager, underpinned by appropriate payroll qualification and/or CIPP membership.
- Experience of working at a senior level in a payroll team in a large organisation
- Experience of managing projects, including but not limited to systems implementation and upgrades to payroll software
- Demonstrate SAP Payroll Functional and Technical implementation and configuration experience.
- Proven ability to support the process design flawless payroll processes with new HR & Payroll solutions.
- Knowledge of the technical payroll requirements of working with complex time and attendance systems.
- Demonstrate excellent analytical capabilities and have an eye for detail.
- Strong understanding of varying complex payroll cycles and rules
- Ability to research, analyse and interpret complex policy and documents, taking into account system builds and complexities.
- Experience of managing and implementing change to improve service effectiveness and efficiency.
- Be highly organised and able to prioritise effectively in a fast-moving environment.
- Flexible attitude to working hours
- The ability to work accurately under pressure
- Be a natural communicator and have the ability to build success relationships across all levels.
