**Customer Technical Advisor**

Due to continued growth in a family run business, we are looking to recruit an experienced Customer Technical Advisor

Essential Criteria
- 5 GCSEs Grade C above including Maths and English
- Good proven IT skills and knowledge of Office software

Desirable criteria
- Ability to learn new tasks, systems & procedures - hit the ground running
- Self-management - able to prioritise without fluster
- Ability to communicate strongly at all levels
- Confident and polite telephone manner
- Experience with Sage or similar accounting software

Role & Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers and colleagues over a wide range of battery and charger technologies
- Answer phones, respond or direct calls accordingly
- Process orders using SAGE software system
- Organise transportation of orders using BSH preferred courier’s online portals
- Record serial numbers for chargers and 2-volt cells [excel spreadsheet]
- Manage and maintain customer and supplier warranty and returns logs [excel spreadsheet]
- Comply with BSH policies and procedures in accordance with ISO/Safecontractor/H & S
- Carry out any further duties as required by the company
- Responsible for personal and working area, H & S and cleanliness/tidiness

Preferential knowledge:

- Ability to size up and provide a UPS solution to customers
- Experience within renewable energy and the ability to manage projects from start up to completion
- Knowledge/experience with Lithium-Ion batteries with BMS
- Experience with charger selection
- Knowledge of 2-volt cells sizing, components and tank building

Salary negotiable upon knowledge and experience

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service/technical: 1 year (preferred)

- Driving Licence (preferred)
