Building Services Supervisor

Claremont Hospital is seeking a Supervisor to join the Building Services team. This position is full time (37.5 hours).
**Main duties and responsibilities**
- To provide an efficient, prompt and courteous service on behalf of the Building Services department to all members of staff and public at Claremont Hospital.
- To work with the onsite maintenance team minimising the use of external contractors maintaining the hospital to high standard whilst minimising response times.
- To process work order requests through to completion on the CAFM helpdesk and also providing monthly feedback and report
- To assist with a hands on approach to creating and carrying out daily, weekly, monthly and annual preventative maintenance schedules.
- To assist in generating and issuing all PPMs and assign to in the respective maintenance technician or contractor
- To provide weekly and monthly reports extracted form CAFM on SLA and KPI performances on all maintenance request and job requests carried out at Claremont Hospital
- To assist in a hands on proactive role in increasing energy efficiencies and cost savings throughout the hospital
- To support building service manager with all statutory inspections and certifications are current and updated.
- To assist in the H&S responsibilities of the building services department adhering to current legislations and meeting statutory requirements informing the building services manager of any Health and safety breeches or concerns that arise.
- Carry out Risk assessments
- To work in conjunction with staff and other departments efficiently planning maintenance works where appropriate
- To assist in the management of further hospital refurbishment/building projects to adhere to health and safety and achieve best value
- To assist in managing the plant and equipment asset register with a view of providing information on plant life cycling and capital replacement costs
- Assist in ensuring that contractors have read and understood our contractor terms, issue permit to works and monitor the H&S.
- To raise purchase orders, cheque requisitions and order parts
- At all times maintain own working environment and adhere to Infection Prevention procedures and practices so as to proactively contribute to the protection of patients, visitors and staff form acquiring a healthcare associated infection
- To travel to other sites within the group of requested for meetings and training sessions if required
- To act as a deputy in the absence of the Building Services Manager
