**The Role**

**The role is accountable for researching and tracking developments in zero carbon marketplace affecting our customers and creating content to be shared internally and with customers via our marketing team. The goal is to ensure we are seen as knowledgeleaders and a primary source of information on market developments.**

**The role could provide an excellent stepping stone to launch a career into our specialist carbon consultancy teams.**

**Key Duties**

The key duties will includes:

- Developing a detailed understanding of the zero carbon market and relevance to public sector customers (Councils, NHS, Universities etc).
- Seeking and receiving information and news from multiple online sources
- Research and write about technologies, political changes, service developments, competitor activity and funding availability.
- Building and maintaining a library of information and data sources
- Identifying market trends and impacts
- Work closely with zero carbon team service leads to develop knowledge and share research
- Authoring high quality punctual content to be used in blogs, news items, case studies, thought pieces, insight papers etc.
- Work closely with marketing and communications team to ensure content is in suitable format and timing.

**What you need**
- Real desire to develop detailed understanding of the UK zero carbon industry and UK public sector carbon activity
- Strong evidence of skills in Research (technical and market) and Authoring papers and information pieces
- A background understanding, through work or academic study of UK energy/carbon reduction marketplace
- Self-sufficient workload management
