**About The Role**:
As Project Support Officer, you'll be at the forefront of efficient project delivery, playing a vital role in communication with clients and subcontractors, building strong relationships with the project team and with key stakeholders across the APEM Group. Using your knowledge and available tools, you will be responsible for maintaining oversight of project plans, completing project reviews and budget reporting to ensure effective delivery of current and future projects. You will support the project delivery team, working on national infrastructure projects within the environmental and renewables sector to achieve client needs and build a sustainable future. You’ll also work on broader company-wide initiatives to improve project delivery, supporting process improvement across the business.

**About You**:
You’ll need excellent organisational skills, with a keen attention to detail and a friendly and approachable manner. Your ability to communicate effectively will enable you to build strong relationships and understanding of the projects and objectives you work on. Proven ability in a business support function or as direct project support is desirable, including experience completing project documentation and utilising project management tools (including Deltek, Excel & MS Projects). A self-starter, you’ll take the initiative to drive tasks forward, using your experience to improve processes and ensure effective delivery of projects in a growing and agile sector. Through your individual strengths and experience, you will shape this diverse and flexible role, and the wider project support function.

You will be offered the chance to work on a variety of projects. Many of our employees have worked on projects that have been of personal interest to them and have also taken on work to improve consultancy skills that have aided their career. We match this with a commitment to continuous development and learning. We also offer benefits to look after you, from private medical insurance for all employees, to access to mental health first aiders and comprehensive income protection if you cannot work. We also offer superb flexible working options, balancing work with your life.

**Next steps**

We are focused on creating a diverse and inclusive team. If you can’t tick every box on our job description, then we are still keen to hear from you and are open to supporting your development.
