**About the role**

This role is a supported living service providing support to 49 customers, in addition it also offers emergency support to the other tenants across the area through enhanced housing management contribution. The scheme is made up of 8 service locations which provide support to 39 customers and an outreach service which currently provides support to an additional 10 customers
- Maintaining their homes
- Budgeting and shopping
- Planning and preparing meals
- Accessing activities in the community (study, volunteering, social/leisure activities)

As a Support Worker, you will help people with mental health conditions or learning disabilities in their home or out in the community. This might include motivating someone to eat healthily or visit the gym, or providing support to a person with emotional problems.

You will be passionate about ensuring the service we deliver is person-centred in supporting our customers to develop their confidence, skills, and independence in their homes and in the local community. Tasks include but are not limited to:

- Maintaining their homes
- Budgeting and shopping
- Planning and preparing meals
- Accessing activities in the community (study, volunteering, social/leisure activities)
- Maintaining relationships with family and friends
- Accompanying customers to appointments and/or on excursions
- Laundry and housework
- Support with medication.

**About You**

We would love to hear from you if you are passionate about improving the lives of local, vulnerable people. We do not require you to have previous experience in support work as full training will be given.
