White Goods Appliance Installer

DJP Domestic Appliances is a business founded over 30 years ago providing sales, service and repairs to customers in the Ribble Valley and surrounding areas. The company is based in Clitheroe town centre. The successful applicant would be working 24 hours per week. Training on the job will be given
- **Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Installation of a various kitchen appliances including freestanding and built-in appliances into customers houses
- Installation of electric cookers/hobs (hard wired)
- Loading and unloading of goods from delivery vans
- Assisting customers with product purchases and product advice in the shop
- Unpacking and replenishing stock for showroom
- Organising of appliances in warehouse
- Using computerised epos system to book in engineers service calls and make sales orders
- Ensuring best practice with quality and professionalism is met at all times to maintain customer satisfaction

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Have a sound understanding of installing appliances, as weel as attaching kitchen furniture doors to built-in appliances
- Basic plumbing, electrics & joinery skills
- Sales and customer service experience preferable
- Be self-motivated and well organised
- Be physically strong, fit and capable of lifting/moving heavy appliances
- Be able to work Saturday’s
- Experienced driver with no more than 3 points on a current driving licence
- Basic Maths, English and computer skills are essential
- Good computer skills
- Be able to work as part of a team

**The hours of work are**:
Tues 09:00-18:00

Fri 09:00-18:00

Sat 09:00-17:30

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.00-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
