**Reference Data Analyst - Governance, Analysis and Solutions**
**Glasgow**

As a Barclays Reference Data Analyst you will be involved in transforming strategic ideas into change projects that can be planned, and monitored whilst being mindful of risk, budget and personal conduct. You will join our team, which is central to Reference Data Operations & IT, Data functions and the business, maintaining a governance framework to help drive change initiatives. Your new role is a mid-level role, in which you will mentor junior analysts, and which could provide management opportunities in the future.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Executing a strategic idea through a well-designed change project that will be planned, organised and tracked
- Assisting with the management of an extensive project portfolio and ensuring consistent delivery under pressure
- Demonstrating solid analytical skills
- Assisting with the breakdown of a function, operating model or project into its constituent parts and building it back up better
- Fostering and managing relationships with stakeholders, building support and sponsorship at all levels
- Building trust through credible use of facts and data and possessing the ability to creatively resolve problems and issues at pace

**What we’re looking for**:

- Good understanding of Client/ Counterparty data and Settlement Instructions
- Experience in assisting with the breakdown of a function, operating model or project into its constituent parts and building it back up better
- The ability to put a strategic idea into a well-designed change project that can be planned, organised and tracked
- Evidence of working an extensive project portfolio and ensuring consistent delivery under pressure

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Ability to quantify and support mitigation of risk at a project level
- Demonstrate solid analytical skills
- High level understanding of the trade lifecycle across all asset classes
