My Client is a major Financial Planning organisation with ultra high net worth clients and companies based both in the UK and throughout Europe.

This Private Client Manager role (one of 7 throughout the UK) is looking after existing clients in the UK who have returned from Europe or who may be planning to become ex-pats in the future.

The role involves 'hand holding' those existing clients (now in the UK) and reviewing their financial planning needs and portfolios whilst building a robust client relationship.

There are c 125 existing ultra high net worth clients based mainly in the North West (including the Lakes), North East and up to Scotland but more are being added all of the time.

Ideal location for this PCM would be: Manchester, Liverpool, Cumbria, Huddersfield or Leeds.

Key Responsibilities:
Establish and record the clients' current financial position, objectives and risk tolerance and other info needed to develop a financial plan.

Guide clients through their investment strategy and financial plan, using all relevant data including income tax returns, life and disability insurance records, pension plan information and wills and existing investment arrangements.

Prepare and interpret client information such as investment performance reports, financial document summaries and income projections.

Build and maintain effective client relationship.

Carry out highly competent face to face reviews with clients using risk profiling and implement financial planning recommendations where appropriate.

Oversee changes to clients' investments as instructed.

On behalf of the clients utilise the firm's investment approach.

Own Professional Standards:
Maintain and extend professional standards by keeping up to date with financial products and legislation.

Meet the professional, regulatory and ethical aspects of the role and treat all clients fairly at all times.

New Business:
Discuss client objectives with Senior Management

Oversee implementation of agreed recommendations.

Ambassadorial:
To be an Ambassador for the firm at all times.

To contact clients with news of new financial products or changes to legislation that may affect their savings and investments.

To balance referral activities and client follow up in an effective and organised way.

**Requirements**:
You will need to have passed Diploma Level 4 of the UK financial planning exams as recognised by the UK Financial Conduct Authority bot International equivalent and have a good understanding of financial planning in the UK

Extra Info:
You will enjoy the back up of a Paraplanner and Tax Advice department.

Background:
Besides having the necessary qualifications you will have upwards of 3/5 years client facing experience dealing with advice on investments, pensions and tax planning.

Your background may include providing face to face financial planning advice via one of the major banks, as an IFA or wealth adviser or major life company via their own products.
