Job Description - Adshall Road Medical Practice

Medical Receptionist/administrator - Permanent part time contract - 10 hours per week.

We are a small friendly GP Practice in Cheadle and are looking to recruit a medical receptionist/administrator to join our busy team. As front of house for the Practice you should enjoy working with the general public and dealing with their enquiries, excellent customer service skills are therefore essential. As a receptionist you will book patients in when they arrive for their appointments, make patient appointments, order prescription requests via the computer, action tasks from the doctors, answer the telephone and deal with a wide range of patient enquiries. Administration work will include scanning hospital letters on to patient's medical records and sending to the doctors via the computer.

The job also does rely on a certain amount of flexibility to cover holidays and sickness.

Shifts Required: Wednesday 8am -1pm: Thursday 1.30pm -6.30pm
